For those who have enquired about the little 'Bear Rucksack'

it has now been added to the downloads in our 

MJT Facebook Knitting Group

(*For any customers who aren't on Facebook and would like a copy 

if you send a quick email I can send the pattern to you personally)

It's been lots of fun photographing this little project

and I hope everyone enjoys making their Rucksacks.

I'm looking forward to seeing all those little explorers!

There are a few ideas in the pattern including a 

sock yarn Rucksack (as below) and also a festive version 

which I think would also make a special little gift bag or 

tree decoration to hold a Xmas message or treat.

(Tearoom Bears, Candy Bear (Medium), Tearoom Cat, Tearoom Elephants,

or you could experiment with different weight yarns and larger/smaller needle 

sizes to create different size Rucksacks for your smaller/larger

... Hello ...

I hope you've had a good start to August everyone

Above are some little jackets and scarves which I 

photographed in the mini closet and were created using plain, 

speckled and self patterning sock yarns

(a perfect way to use up all those lovely leftovers!)

The colourful jackets are all from the

'Sock Yarn Bear Jackets'

knitting pattern

On top of the closet is a mouse size mini scarf 

from the Winter Mice knitting pattern 🐭 and some 

larger Bear Scarves which are a free supplement attached 

to the Sock Yarn Pinafores and Cardigans knitting pattern 🐻

(we're definitely ready for those cooler days to come!)

Hello Everyone!

I hope you've had a good start to the new week

This is a quick post to let anyone who wanted to knit a 

'Tearoom Boy Elephant' know that Method 2

(ELI worked 'flat and seamed')

is now available on

Ravelry, ETSY and here on the Tearoom Blog

This version is for those who prefer to knit their pieces 'back and forth' 

on 2 Single Pointed Knitting Needles then seam the pieces.

For those who prefer to knit 'in the round' with no seams

'Eli Method 1' will be available in a few days time

(I'll update here when that happens)

A few other notes...

Pattern includes 'step by step' instructions 

and lots of 'in progress' photographs

taken by myself as I worked... something I really enjoy

Eli's Stripy Top and Baggy Trousers are removable

with minimal sewing
