Kindness...

 ...this week...
my snapshots have shouted out one resounding word
'kindness' of which I've definitely been the most lucky recipient x
My beautiful girls making sure I had the perfect Mother's day
...flowers...perfume...champagne...the best cake (ever!)...
.....whisking away the worries of a difficult week...
An unexpected parcel arriving in the post from Alison of
(maker of beautiful tiny wooden buttons which decorate my little bear jackets and shoes)
I now have my very own custom made needle gauge...
...such a surprise!...
Thank you so much Alison x
(and it now holds pride of place on my work room shelf)

Thank you too blog friends
for taking the time to visit my corner here
and for all the kind comments ...especially recently over those little bear jackets! ;-)
...I do love this creative world we all inhabit x

...and then...by chance yesterday...
on my Instagram travels I came across this quote
which summed up my thoughts this week...

'Kindness - that simple word.
To be kind - it covers everything, to my mind.
If you're kind that's it.'

Roald Dahl

Happy New Week All

Happy Sunday Susan....

I am so glad that you have received those thoughtful and beautiful gifts! A simple act of kindness is such a wonderful thing that can bring smiles for a long time after. Your blog is such a beautiful place to visit...I love your bears, dolls and bunnies so much...and the little jackets just make me smile every time I see them! Even though I only am acquainted with you online you bring smiles and kindness to my little corner so very often...and I think of you often because I was the lucky recipient of one of your giveaways...another act of kindness...smiles...I hope you have a better week filled with all the things that bring you joy! Hugs!

I love love this blog and your work and photos--you always add a bit of beauty to my day when I see your blog--
I really want to knit one of these dolls, or bears, or rabbits--I just don't don't know where to start--I do have lots of knitting needles--but really am not sure what kind of yarn to buy?? and is one of the body patterns simpler that another for starting???
I love kindness and I always try to be kind to everyone I meet--
enjoy the moments, diane

There is a bit of accumulated evidence that what some folks forecast about this Fire Rooster year in the lunar calendar might have some basis.

All the more reason to remember the importance of kindness! I am so glad to be able to visit with you both here and over on IG. xo

What a candy filled post, love the little dolls cardigan's will you be selling the pattern soon ?
Sorry about your difficult week, I think we all get them from time to time.
Always look forward, bad weeks never last.
Kindness is a wonderful word , I always try and make someones day by just saying something nice to them.
I love to give , you get so much back when you give , spread kindness and your life will be filled with love.

Dearest Susan, kindness is the best daily medicine, nourishment, garment and gift we could ever give away. How LOVELY are your photos that are gentle (they speak to me too!) and the gifts from your friend. I too received two darling tokens of kindness in the mail this week. Enjoy your APRIL!

Kindness is a wonderful thing isn't it and it is so simple. Just a little word or hug, or kindness, makes such a difference. Glad for you that life has been kind to you!

Such a lovely quote. I think we often don't realize how much the tiniest kindness might mean to someone else. I hope you have continued to be filled with it.
