Easter at MJT......

Easter Wishes
Mary Jane's TEAROOM

 'Lola' from the
Knitting Pattern...
sitting on an egg cup waiting for the
Easter Parade
Hello friends...
I thought you may like to see a finished Tearoom Mouse in different colours
and so here I have made Lola using oddments of
Baby Alpaca DK for her body and a mix of Purelife/Siena Cotton 4 Ply yarns
for her clothes in lovely pastel colours...
4mm Swarovski black pearl beads have been used for Lola's eyes
which are very inexpensive for a pack on Ebay
(They look very pretty on corsages too!)
Thank you so much for the lovely response
to the new knitting pattern.....
it has been a very happy week all round!
Oh...and one last thing....
there is a little boy mouse around here somewhere...
we just have to catch him......

Hope your Easter Holiday is a good one
wherever you may be......

Our new visitors....

MJT Little Gems
Fifi and Lola arrived on a boat from a land far away across the sea....
Shy by nature, they enjoy nothing more than busily tidying
the tearoom through the night.....
wearing her favourite sailing dress, knickerbockers
and little beach shoes with bows...

wearing her nautical smock top and knickerbockers,
(specially customised to accommodate little pink tails)
along with her stripy tights....
Our new little friends ....
love to sit on the shelves around the tearoom
where they can quietly watch all the daily comings and goings...

Fifi taking it easy leaning against a tearoom mug
 in her pretty knickerbockers
The latest knitting pattern from
Mary Jane's Tearoom

As always the pattern contains lots of photographs
and detail to help you along the way....
Tearoom mice measure 8 1/2" from tip of ear to toe.....
are quick to knit and ideal for using yarn oddments from your stash...
perfect for your Craft Fairs/Charity Fundraising
(But please don't sell over the internet)
I hope you like our new little visitors
who will be available in my
over the next few days
There's lots of excitement and great curiosity
I must leave you now lovely friends
as there's lots of work to do today at the Tearoom!

Until next time...

Almost there...

Hello my friends!
Are you enjoying the Spring weather on this beautiful day?
Lots of sunshine and lovely blue skies have called on us today...
This is just a quick post to let you know that I am hoping
to list the new pattern later in the week....

Here are a few things I have considered during the
creative process...

I wanted this pattern to be....
Good for using oddments from your yarn stash
left over yarns from previous MJT projects
Something easy that can be knit reasonably quickly
A little decorative item perfect for a nursery shelf
A good size for a pretty gift bag
Something to make for your Craft/School Fairs and Charity Fund Raising
and last but ceratinly not least....
...A little friend who can sit secretly in a school bag!
I will be back later in the week
with our new Mary Jane's Tearoom visitors!

Take care until then my friends
