Yarn love....

Well, I now have lots of knitting and crochet projects
on the go again...maybe too many but I'm loving the variety...
unintended I've just noticed similar colours seem
to be recurring and some are shades I don't use very often ;-)...
I've made lots of squares for a cushion and the large square
above with the little daisy centre is part of the back using
small yarn remnants...and may change when the front is complete! :-)

Also, a note too for anyone purchasing doll hair yarn for TEAROOM Dolls.....

Little Oke Dolls large loop mohair (above) is now known as
'Wild Large Loop Mohair'

...it's beautiful and perfect for any type of doll making
(also EN71 Toy Safety Certified)
and is included in the TEAROOM Doll Kits with more shades available too at
Little Oke Dolls online x
(a perfect place to find all doll making materials x)

Wishing you a happy weekend all

Back soon

P.S  The very pretty handmade yarn bowl was found here on ETSY...I love the colour...
...and I'm happy to report my quilt is now free of all my scribbles...will take a few pics next week x

  6. Such lovely yarn pictures, it is nice to try some different shades for a change isn't it? Whatever you choose I just know it will always be beautiful! The mohair yarn for making doll's hair is perfect, very soft and not too fluffy! Love your new crochet.....have a happy weekend, dear Susan.

  18. Dear, dear Susan! HELLO! Thank you for coming to my blog! And guess what? I am coming back to blogging! I will be on holiday in June, but I do plan on coming back. My book is starting out well because my main problem was to provide my own photography. Well, I've remedied that. I am working on my photography and it's definitely improved to a better quality worthy of a book. OH THE FUN!

    Enjoy your holiday! XOXOXO Anita

  20. I'm so jealous of the selection of yarns available to knitters in the UK. Thank goodness for on-line shopping. Some yummy yarn from Little Oke Dolls was at my door in Canada 48 hours after I placed the order! And it didn't cost my first born child for shipping. Actually cheaper than mailing it across Canada.

But I'm still working on getting Jameison's Shetland wool. Any ideas?
