Knitting bliss!

Well, the Christmas festivities already seem a distant memory, the annual Winter virus has finally left our door and the snow has melted away. Peace reigns over our home and the sun is shining, if only for a short while. Time at last for some knitting and, of course, a cup of tea. Bliss.....

  1. What a pretty picture, that knitting looks so soft and cuddly already!

Having recently become a Grandmother for the first time my Mum has re-discovered knitting. I passed your details on to her and she has bought one of your bunny patterns. I feel I am going to be very jealous of my little niece this easter!

I have promised myself I will learn how to knit and crochet this year. I would ideally like to be able to produce blankets, toys and granny squares. Do you have any tips or advice on where to start? Any good books you could recommend?

    Thanks, Claire x

  2. Hi Claire,
I have to recommend the Jean Greenhowe toy patterns if you are new to knitting toys. She covers a wide range from the very easy to the more complicated designs. There is something for everyone in each pattern book and they are easy to follow.
There are some great books on Amazon for knitted blankets/squares.I have been promising to treat myself to one.I will let you know if I find a really good one.
