Weekend update....

A short update today...
The Little Sock Yarn Bear Jackets
which I've been asked a lot about over the last couple of weeks
will be available as a knitting pattern in the New Year...
I'm going to enjoy knitting them in quite a few different yarns before writing up
the pattern and will look forward to showing you them all after the Holidays
...self patterning...speckled...embroidered...
There's plenty lovely sock yarn here so in the afternoons I'm going to enjoy knitting little jackets
and adding my favourite wooden buttons....it's a quick project for all those oddments too
(I've also put together a little clothes rail but I need to paint it white ;-) )

(and how beautiful is this large loop mohair from my lovely friend Debbie at
Little Oke Dolls ...little yarn cakes all with their own individual labels were included in
the doll kits ....there are also lots of other lovely shades to customise too on the website)

also...
Thank you so much to everyone who has purchased a Doll Kit
Busy bees were in the workroom and now they're all safely on their way ...
(some to faraway places....many of them travelling to the other side of the world!)
It's good to read too that the Giveaway Bear Kits have arrived safely in their new homes
(and there will be more Kit Giveaways in the New Year x )

(looking forward to their new jackets ;-) )

I'll be back next week with a Christmas post

until then

P.S  ...and don't forget to put your feet up every now and again
over these busy days and enjoy a treat...or two...or three...x

  4. Maybe it is my over-active imagination, but the expressions on the facesof the little bears in the last photo do seem to be asking, "where are our jackets?" Won't be long, now, I reassured them. xo
