A basket full of cheer!

It's lovely to be greeted at the moment by this

vibrant splash of Summer colour

at our front door

(which is north facing and misses out on the warmth

of the sun for most of the day)

Flowers really do lift the spirits don't they?

All things new!

 I have had a technically challenging weekend in more ways than one!

Firstly, getting to know my new  camera after many years of knowing life with
my old and ever dependable  little compact friend.

(I am still firmly holding on to it just in case!)

It is all looking promising although I have a long way to go yet.
 There are still mysterious buttons

that I am careful to avoid at all cost.
At least for the moment anyway!

Secondly, I have finally worked out how to link my patterns
to the tearoom website.

If all goes according to plan they will be available to purchase directly from here
later in the week, plus there will be a celebratory

Afternoon Tea

It has been a dull and drizzly day here
but a lovely afternoon was had by all
with the help of homemade scones
 and
strawberry jam!
